URGENT ON THE DAY APPOINTMENTS
On weekdays, one doctor is on duty each day on a rota basis to see patients who phone up for appointments which can't wait until the next routine appointment. Each patient will be given a timed, ten-minute, appointment with a named doctor.
There are also some appointments available later in the morning for each of the other doctors who are working that day, that are bookable on that day
PRE BOOKED ROUTINE APPOINTMENTS
Reserved for routine, non-urgent medical matters (and used sometimes when patients particularly want to see a preferred doctor.)
Patients can book an appointment with the doctor of their choice up to four weeks ahead over the telephone or in person and up to two weeks on-line (a password is required - ask at reception).
Appointments are normally ten-minutes long.
When booking please help by giving as much information as possible
All information is in strict confidence
Minor medical matters notified to us before 12.30 weekdays may be suitable for GP telephone assessment. Our staff can take details and where appropriate a doctor will call back usually within 2 hours. This will enable you to receive the most appropriate care for your needs.
CANCELLING AN APPOINTMENT

If you consent and keep us up to date with your number, we can send you a booking confirmation. You will also receive a reminder the day before your appointment. We can also text you details of seasonal flu clinics etc. You can opt-out at any time.

Faith House is a teaching practice for fourth year Medical Students from the Hull&York Medical School and newly qualified doctors (known as "FY2s"), providing training and practical skills for tomorrow's GPs.
The students sit in with the doctors on some Thursday mornings and the FY2s most weekdays. If patients prefer not to have the student(s) present during their consultation (patients are always asked first) please tell the receptionist when booking your appointment.
